Postdoctoral Researcher at ESTD,
Oak Ridge National Laboratory,
Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA

About Me: I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Previously, I obtained my PhD from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Iowa. My PhD thesis advisor was Mathews Jacob. I was a research intern at Genentech Inc. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Silchar, India.

Research Interests: Broadly, my research interest spans across multiple areas including machine learning, deep learning, convex optimization, image reconstruction and segmentation. I have had experience in solving inverse imaging problems through physics-based deep-learning techniques. Some of the problems I have worked on are image reconstruction, super-resolution, denoising and segmentation.

Hobbies: I believe recreational activities supplement creative thinking and productivity. Such reasons have inspired me to explore running and singing as hobbies. I occasionally sing and archive videos of those on my youtube channel. Running energizes my mind and body for the long haul and it also helps me stay fit. As a matter of fact, recently I finished a 25Km (16 miles) trail run!
